Front Crawl advanced.

Try getting the most out of every stroke. You can do this by making each stroke longer and also by making each stroke more powerful. Each time you enter your hand it should stretch forwards as far as possible, and your shoulders and hips should roll slightly. Your shoulders are very strong and you can make a more powerful pull by rolling them a little bit more. This helps you to use your muscles more strongly than before.

  Key Points
  • Maintain a high elbow during the pull
  • Having the fingers slightly appart increases the surface area of the pull. Be careful not to open too wide that water goes through them.
  • Catch as much still water as possible by moving your pull in an S shape.
